Admission Policy
Admission Policy
Admissions are made strictly as per the policy of UPTU/ State government guidelines.
Details are given below-:
B.Tech. ( 4 years)
I- 85 % of total intake through SEE-UPTU 2010
II-15 % seats under management quota shall be filled by NRI candidates at the Institute level.
The vacant seats in this category and/or vacant seats after counselling of SEE-UPTU 2010
shall be filled at the Institute level in the following order :-
1) By qualified candidates of SEE-UPTU 2010
2) By qualified candidates of AIEEE-2010
3) By merit of candidates in qualifying (10+2) examination. In this category, the candidates
must have secured a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in total in required
subjects combination (Physics+Maths+Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Sc./Biology )
4) Institute’s Entrance Test

1) 85% of seats will be filled through counseling on the basis of SEE-UPTU 2010
2) 15% seats under management quota shall be filled by NRI candidates at the Institute level.
3) The vacant seats in this category and /or vacant seats after counselling of SEE-UPTU 2010 shall
be filled at the Institute level in the following order :-
a) By qualified candidates of SEE-UPTU 2010
b) By qualified candidates of CAT/MAT 2010
c) By merit of candidates in qualifying examination. In this category the candidate must
have passed 3 years degree course from any recognized university securing
minimum50%(45% for SC/ST) marks.
d) Institute’s Entrance Test.

MBA ( 2 Years)
MCA ( 3 Years)
1) 85% of seats will be filled through counseling on the basis of SEE-UPTU 2010
2) 15% seats under management quota shall be filled by NRI candidates at the Institute level. The vacant seats in this category and /or vacant seats after counselling of SEE-UPTU 2010 shall be filled at the Institute level in the following order.
a) By qualified candidates of SEE-UPTU 2010.
b) By merit of candidates in qualifying examination. In this category, the candidate must have passed 3 years degree course from any recognized university securing minimum50% (45% for SC/ST) marks, with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 Level or at bachelors degree level.
c) Entrance Test of the Institute.
Direct Admission through Institute’s Entrance Exam
(As a special drive for the admission of the meritorious students.)
The Institute shall also be conducting its own Entrance Exam-2010.
The date and Venue for the same shall be duly notified in local newspapers and selected T.V.
channels.
This is to facilitate the meteritorious students who could not appear in AIEEE or UPSEE

Direct admission to II year B.Tech. (on 10 % of total seats of I year )
Eligibility:-
1) 60 % marks in Engg. Diploma.
OR
60% marks in B.Sc. with Mathematics as one of the subjects
2) Admission through SEE-UPTU 2010 Examination and subsequent counselling
|
exams of 2010 or could not make it due to personal reasons.
3) The vacant seats after counselling shall be filled by the Institute strictly on merit.
