Admission Policy
Admissions are made strictly as per the policy of UPTU/ State government. Details for admissions are given below for B.Tech. , MBA & MCA
1. 85 % of total intake through SEE-UPTU 2009.
2. 15 % seats under management quota shall be filled by NRI candidates at the institute level. The vacant seats in this category and/or vacant seats after counselling of SEE-UPTU 2009 shall be filled at the institute level in the following order :-
(i) By the qualified candidates of SEE-UPTU 2009. (ii) By the qualified candidates of AIEEE-2009 for B.Tech. and CAT/MAT-2009 for MBA.
(iii) By the merit of candidates in qualifying examination. In this category:-
(a) The candidates must have passed (10+2) exam securing a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in total in required subjects combination (Physics + Maths + Chemistry / Biotechnology /Computer Sc. /Biology) for B.Tech.
(b) The Candidates must have passed 3 year degree course from any recognized university securing minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks for MBA.
(c) The Candidates must have passed 3 year degree course from any recognized university securing minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks with mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at bachelor degree level for MCA.
Direct admission to II year B.Tech. on 10 % of total seats of 1st year will be through SEE-UPTU 2009 Examination. The vacant seats after counselling shall be filled at the institute’s level by the candidates securing 60 % marks in Engineering Diploma / 60% marks in B.Sc. with Mathematics as one of the subjects from any institute located in Uttar Pradesh. or by candidates whose parents are domicile of Uttar Pradesh and have passed three year Engineering Diploma (with minimum 60% marks) recognized by the Board of Technical Education, U.P.
